Even though Lisa fought for her life with a double radical mastectomy and three years of battles, Lisa was taken by the cancer when it metastasized into her brain and lungs. Lisa lost her life to cancer on November 1st, 2008. During her life, Lisa became involved in many cancer foundations and was in a national ad for the Sun Program. Because she received so much help through donations, she started a foundation in her own name to show her son the importance of paying it forward to others who need help. Her family and friends are continuing her work with the Lisabet Anna Buesing Angel Support. We are united now with Partners for Breast cancer Care, Inc. Our mission is to save lives and reduce suffering from breast cancer through improved early detection, education and access to health care. We help underserved women and men receive breast care.
